Foxwood Luxury Apartments Breaks Ground
“Movin on uuuup…to a de-lux apartment in the skyyyy” Well George and Weasie may not be coming to the Triangle Town Center area anytime soon but many others will. A new luxury (read high-end) apartment community is being built just north of the large shopping mall area. Foxwood Luxury Apartments is a proposed 480 units in a high end apartment style featuring amenities over and above just the great location with access to 540 and Capital Boulevard. What amenities? How about a full service business center to start followed by a large Vegas style pool. OK, maybe not a Vegas style but a resort style pool nonetheless. Working long hours and not interested in taking a dip, how about hitting the 24 hour fitness facility? If those muscles are tired and you chose a top floor in one of the four buildings feel free to take the interior elevators found in each. All of the homes will come with a washer and dryer, a kitchen Rachel Ray would love and plenty of space. High ceilings, walk-in closets and hardwood floors should do the trick. Keep your Tesla or Jeep in the garage or a carport, grab the shrimp for the grilling center and finally relax by the outdoor fireplace.
New York based investor (real estate) Ken Burnham leads a team of investors that purchased the land several years ago when it was bank owned. The site is 6701 Fox Road…just north of 540. First units are expected to be ready in spring of 2017 and feature 1-3 bedroom plans. Phase one includes approximately half the units and the clubhouse!
One other bonus…local leader and Operations Manager of Lafayette Village (built by Burnham), Holly Van Apeldoorn, may be involved in the 46 acre site in some way. That’s a great thing as Holly has a wonderful reputation in her ability to reach out to the general community at large and is well respected.
