Apex New Professional Park $16M Project
The Triangle continues to grow and commercial real estate continues to benefit. Olive Chapel Professional Park is the most recent example of this growth in our suburban areas. Yes, we know the Research Triangle Park (RTP) is thriving, downtown Raleigh continues to grow at an incredible pace. But the growth can really be felt in area like Wake Forest, Apex, Holly Springs, Cary, Morrisville, Fuquay Varina etc. Olive Chapel Professional Park LLC., founded in 2016 through members of the Gasiorowski family – owners of Benefit Advisors in Apex, are excited about this project and what it could mean to the town of Apex. The plan includes a mixed use professional park in Apex with ample parking and several 15,000 square foot buildings.
According to Diego Munoz of KW Commercial, “we have some releasing in place, but we can’t disclose who they are just yet.” Diego represents Olive Chapel Professional Park Llc. The project is has a projected value at close to $16 million when it is complete. The land is close to the Beaver Creek Commons and Public Pointe shopping centers and near the entrance into Chapel Ridge at the corner of Olive Chapel Road and Chapel Ridge Road.
The approval process proved to be contentious and was not unanimous as the Apex Town Council decided to overrule the town’s land use map. The map showed this 8.7 acres had a more suitable use as medium density residential use. However, in an effort to spark more commercial growth they decided to allow this project.
