Sprouts Grocery Expands in The Triangle
Triangle shoppers looking for fresh produce, unique goods, a farmer’s market grocery buying experience are in luck. Fact is those that live in North Raleigh and Wake Forest know exactly what I mean. Sprouts, the Phoenix based grocery chain has had a full parking lot since it opened earlier in 2017. Shoppers flock to the store that is a mix of several stores … a Publix- Trader Joes – Whole Foods – Wegmans sort of experience if you will. Not exactly like any of this mentioned but certainly pulling from each. Why are the local shoppers in luck? Because rumor has it that the Triangle has just secured Sprouts in a second location. Southern Durham off of 54 in the Homestead Market shopping center. A space formerly occupied by Harris Teeter.
The addition of Sprouts (allegedly) will bring that shopping center to 93% capacity. Roses, Great Clips, Fitness World among others – will all benefit from the traffic that Sprouts is sure to bring.
The self proclaimed natural and organic grocery store is modeled after a farmer’s market. When asked if Sprouts was a farmer’s market…”Sprouts is a healthy grocery store that is inspired by farmers markets, and we trace our lineage back to a single fruit stand in San Diego. We are fully indoors and are open 364 days a year. Our welcoming stores feature an abundance of farm fresh produce, all natural meat and seafood, thousands of pantry staples, baked goods and deli meats and cheeses. Clear sightlines offer an open, airy environment and help ensure you can locate a team member if you have questions, which we believe is reminiscent of an old-time farmers market.”
